The Bangladesh MHM School and College has notched up impressive results in the Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSC) held in February and March this year by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka.
All 24 students of Science Group passed with good grades while 12 of them secured Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5, the ever best result in the history of the institution.
Ten out of 13 students from Business Studies Group also passed with satisfactory marks. The over all pass percentage is 92%.
Abdullah Al Mamun, Adnan Mohamed Mujib, Ahmed Toky Yasir, Asif Zahidul Haq, Fiyadh Shahid, Jobayer Imam Jaber, Rafi Al Aftab, Fahad bin Alam, Mohamed Sakib Mahmud, Mohamed Saifullah, Esrat Jahan and Priyanka Ghosh from the Science stream were the School toppers scoring a GPA of 5.
The list of other successful students is as follows, with GPA in brackets: Science stream – Farhan Kader (4.50), Iftekhar Ahmed (4.38), Tasmin Akter Moon (4.88), Saddam Hossain (4.38), Mohamed Abul Hassan (4.38), Noshin Anjum Nisha (4.81), Farhana Rahman (4.81), Sharhin Akhter (4.13), Syeda Sara Sultana (4.19), Iftekhar Bin Borhan (3.50), Shamsun Nahar (3.25) and Shahreya Akhter (3.81).
Business Studies Stream- Mussa Bin Muzammel (4.69), Mohamed Shahag (4.50), Mohamed Jamal Uddin (4.13), Sakib Ahmed (4.00) Shek Zahed (3.88) Nusrat Noushin (3.94), Farzana Akter (3.06), Shima Akter Shamim (3.25) Amena Begum (3.31) and Farhana Begum.
The school’s director of administration retired Major Nasir Uddin Ahmed congratulated the students, teachers and parents for the excellent results.
He also praised the steps initiated by Bangladesh ambassador Mohamed Shahdat Hossain, ex-officio Chairman of the school governing body.
